I think it was characterized by a wide variety of dams, from small to large dams. In addition, hydroelectric power generation is also active in the region with abundant river water, and the Yangtze River Dam, in particular, is very spectacular with its rows of gates.
The Uchikura Dam, Niigata Prefecture's only hollow gravity-fed concrete dam, is especially recommended on this course. If possible, please visit the inside of the embankment as well.
The Oishi Dam is also extremely unusual in that it has observation decks on both the left and right banks. You should save quite a bit of time for these two.
Note that this time, since we attended a wedding at Uchikura Dam, we have accounted for much more time spent there. In addition, we did not actually visit the Kajikawa flood control dam, so the time spent at that dam is included in this report as a hypothetical visit.
