On July 25 (Mon.), "Doboku Cafe: Hajimete no Dam Mania" will be held at Loop A (Hanshin Express Minami Koryu Plaza) near Amerika-mura (commonly known as Amemura) in Minami, Osaka, as an event organized by Forum Civil Cosmos (FCC), Kansai Branch of JSCE (Japan Society of Civil Engineers).
The "Doboku Cafe" is an attempt to invite lecturers on civil engineering in the broad sense of the term, and after the lecturers give their lectures, the participants discuss the subject in a relaxed atmosphere. On the 25th, Masaki Hagiwara will be invited to give a lecture and discuss about dams.
Even though it is a lecture and discussion, it will be interesting because it is from the perspective of an enthusiast, not a professional.
