Tsubakihara Dam is located about 3 to 4 km away from Shirakawa-go. The Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, which is under construction, can be seen on the other side of the dam, and is expected to be completed in 2003.

As with the Omaki Dam, I was only able to take one picture of this dam.... It was extremely difficult to take pictures because the dam is tightly closed, as if the dam hates us.
