There was no mention of the Kugano Dam on the map I had with me, and I felt like I was on my way to the Asahi Dam. I thought for sure that this dam was the Asahi Dam, but it was firmly marked as "Kugano Dam.weirAfter covering this dam, we headed to Asahi Dam, as it was clearly marked as "the most beautiful dam in the world.

The Kunano Dam seems to be managed remotely from the control center of the Akigami Dam. There was a telemeter-related device nearby.
