（The Japan Dam Association (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Kanji Hayama) has been holding its annual "D-shot contest" website photo contest for the eighth time, and the deadline for entries is today.
The contest is looking for photos of the dam itself and the scenery created by the dam. Both professional and amateur photographers are welcome to enter the contest, which can be submitted through a form on the MISHOP website.
There are five divisions: the "dam body" division, which focuses on the dam embankment; the "dam lake" division, which focuses on the dam lake; the "dam under construction" division, which focuses on the dam body and surrounding facility construction; the "familiarity with dams" division, which focuses on fun and events at the dam body, dam lake, and surrounding facilities; and the "others" division, which does not belong to any of these categories. The "Other" category is not included in either of these categories.
