The year 2020, which has brought unprecedented circumstances to mankind, is finally coming to an end. Personally, I had a hard time going to the dam due to a series of misfortunes of my family members, but there were dams that I visited when I saw the timing of the convergence, so I would like to look back on this year as well.

2020/1/5: Jishu Shrine

Although not a dam, my family and I paid a first visit to the Josui Shrine in Kaizu City, Gifu Prefecture, to pray for flood control and the safety of all dam operators.

2020/1/11: Tokuyama Dam, Yokoyama Dam, Kuse Dam, Nishidaira Dam

On this day, I visited the Ibigawa Defense Force while visiting my wife's parents' home. This was my first visit to the dam this year.

2020/6/26: Remote entry for Dam Night 10

In addition to the Corona disaster, I had a family member's misfortune in February, and I have not been able to visit the dam since January, but Mr. Hagiwara invited me to speak remotely at Dam Night for the first time.

2020/7/5: Nishidaira Dam, Kuse Dam, Yokoyama Dam, Tokuyama Dam

It was also on the way to visit my wife's parents, and it was really the first time I had been to the dam in six months.

2020/7/11: Maruyama Dam (Gifu)

While having my car inspected, I visited the Maruyama Dam during a work-related visit to the town of Yaotsu. It was the pre-opening day of the bungee jump at the New Tabisoku Bridge, so I was allowed to observe the jump.

2020/9/21: New reservoir, Ochiai Dam, Hananoko reservoir sub-bank, Hananoko reservoir, Yamaguchi Dam, Momosuke Fukuzawa Memorial Hall, Momosuke Bridge, Yomiuri Dam, Kiso Dam, Yokogawa Dam, Minowa Dam

On this day, the effects of the corona were beginning to subside. For "Momosuke ChopsticksThe tour started from Tono, Gifu Prefecture, to Kiso Road, and the return trip took the Ina Road route to the dam.

2020/9/22: Bunka no Michi Futabakan

This is the villa of Sadayakko Kawakami, Momosuke's business partner. If you think you can get "Momosuke chopsticks" here, you are mistaken...

2020/10/15: Jorinji disaster prevention dam, Ohdoro disaster prevention dam, Matsuno dam, Maesawa dam, Maruyama dam

On this day, I had work in Yaotsu-cho, Gifu Prefecture, so I toured the dam while heading to my place of work.

2020/11/15: Jen-nuki Reservoir, Jintoku Disaster Prevention Dam, Kamidaira No. 1 Reservoir, Mukumi Disaster Prevention Dam, Tazawa Disaster Prevention Dam, Kanehira Disaster Prevention Dam, Ubagadou Reservoir, Iwamura Dam, Ozawa Reservoir, Iino Reservoir, Lake Nenoue, Momosuke Fukuzawa Memorial Hall

I once again toured a dam in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture for my "Momosuke Chopsticks" revenge.

summary

Soon it will be five years since the last "Yuku Dam Kuru Dam".

This year, we were reluctant to visit any dams, and visited a total of 34 dams, half of last year's total. We visited 12 new dams. I hope that next year I will be able to tour dams freely without hesitation. I also hope to resume "gatherings with dam enthusiasts" next year.

Well then, I wish you all a happy New Year. Please look forward to working with us again next year.
