The Iwaya Dam is located just north of the Maze River Dam. It is located above the Mazegawa No. 2 Power Plant and the pumped storage power plant. Again, this is an early morning photo, so the reflection is poor....

As might be expected of one of the largest rock-fill dams in Japan, it is huge.

There are two gates. The gates are relatively clean, perhaps freshly painted.

The power generation facility can be seen below. It seems that the power plant can also be visited, and that tourist buses go directly into the inside of the dike. The entrance is quite wide and high.

The top end of the dam is accessible to vehicles. It is rare to see a large-scale rockfill dam that allows ordinary vehicles to pass through the top end.

It was just the time of year for autumn foliage, and the fiery red colored leaves were impressive. Living in the Chubu area, "Asuke" comes to mind when I think of autumn foliage, but I also recommend the traffic jam-free Iwaya Dam.

I tried to process the image to get a beautiful red color, but it was a complete failure.... Since it was a failure at the shooting stage, there is no way to process it.... I would like to learn more about shooting techniques and image processing.
