This article can be read in about 2 minutes to read.

A tour of the permanent flood discharge at the Tokuyama Dam in Gifu Prefecture will be held on Monday, November 7.

At Tokuyama Dam, the reservoir level is currently lowered, and visitors can see the normal flood discharge from the upstream side, which is not normally visible.

This figure is from the book "For those who love damsYou can see the photos in the "Mere Old Man" section, but I urge you to see this precious condition with your own eyes.

Registration is required in advance and will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis, so it would be best to register as soon as possible.

Also, according to inside information, this is the first time since 2009 that the water level has dropped so low that the gate is fully visible from the upstream side. They are not sure when we will see it again, so now is the time! It is a good time to visit! (Added on 10/28/2016)
