A tour of the permanent flood discharge at the Tokuyama Dam in Gifu Prefecture will be held on Monday, November 7.
At Tokuyama Dam, the reservoir level is currently lowered, and visitors can see the normal flood discharge from the upstream side, which is not normally visible.

Registration is required in advance and will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis, so it would be best to register as soon as possible.

With the lowering of the reservoir level of the Tokuyama Dam, a full view of the permanent flood discharge has been revealed, and a tour will be held for the general public! This is a rare opportunity to see a full view of the permanent flood discharge and the inside of the flood discharge building, which cannot be seen normally. Please come and join us!

Please note that the tour will be cancelled in case of inclement weather. Please note that the viewing area is wet and slippery, so please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Children under elementary school age are not allowed to enter.
