Downstream view of the levee from the left bank
Oh man. Four years have passed since I visited this dam and my memory is quite fuzzy. Now, I wonder how much I can remember.
View of the reduction work from the left bank
The Lotus Dam is one of those hard-to-read dams that is difficult to read as "Hachisudamu. It was completed in 1991, and although it is located deep in the mountains, it has a lot to offer.
Ren Dam Management Office, Chubu Regional Development Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
It is a quality and sturdy management station that is typical of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (then the Ministry of Construction). ButOfficial websiteThe "lotus dam" logo used in the "HachisuWEB" is quite cute, a design that is hard to imagine from this management office. The name of the official website, "HachisuWEB," is also cute.
monument
Oh man. I wonder what it was like... I can't remember... (sweat)
Old road?
I don't know when I took this picture.... Maybe it was because it was raining and I was distracted by the rain, but I really can't remember....
Surface aeration circulator (fountain)
It is not just a fountain. They function by exposing the surface to air, thereby inhibiting the formation of harmful plankton. These devices areAgigawa DamBut I have seen it.
View of the top edge from the left bank
The top end was not allowed to be traveled by automobiles....
View downstream from the top
It is quite high. It was raining, but the river is calm because there is no discharge except for power generation.
Downstream view of the levee from the right bank
Perhaps it is my imagination, but the right bank looks more dignified than the left bank. Well, it is just my imagination. I guess it's just my imagination.
View of the management office and observatory from the right bank
I remember that we gave up going up to the observatory because it was raining. Still, it is a very high observatory. It is higher than the control center. When I visit the Lotus Dam again, I would like to go up and look at the dam from above.
Monument of Lotus Dam Construction
Downstream bridge
There is a bridge downstream that provides a direct view of the embankment.
conduit gate
I aimed at the gate from directly in front of Dawn.
Discharge from power plant
From the bridge, you can also see the discharge of water from the power plant.
View of the levee from downstream
From the front. This is the way to see a dam. I am grateful to Ren Dam for showing us the dam from the front like this.
downstream
The river is so calm that you could play in the river. It would be nice if the weather is good. But please be careful of the discharge when you play in the river.
Temporary drainage tunnel?
As I left the dam, I suddenly noticed these remains. It was probably after the temporary drainage tunnel used during the construction of the dam, but I am not sure of the details. Well, I am almost sure.
