We stopped by during a trip to Takayama. The kids were sleeping soundly, so I decided to leave my wife in the car and go take pictures on my own....
So, there was a tunnel on the right bank, and we went north and parked at the parking lot at the end of that tunnel, but the approach from the parking lot was so rough that we could not walk from there to the bank, so we ended up walking back through the tunnel....
When I arrived at the bank, I was surprised to find that the orifice was releasing the fish!

Still, the water is beautiful. Come to think of it, I had already visited the Ataki Dam a few winters ago, but I remembered that I could not even approach the embankment due to heavy snowfall.

This may be why, although a few years had passed, the place looked somewhat rough and somewhat unvisitable, even though it was just in the fall.

The dam lake still has a summer atmosphere. The floating island at the far left of the dam lake is said to be a biotope.

Although it was early fall, it was still hot. But I could feel negative ions and felt somewhat cooler.

Incidentally, there was a tiger fence at the top edge for construction and it was off-limits. This is the reason for the atmosphere I felt before.
