This dam is located on Lake Sagami, one of the most popular leisure spots in the Kanto area. Therefore, the surrounding roads were very crowded.
Yet, the area around the embankment was extremely deserted and even had an enviable atmosphere. The only people around the levee were us and some boys fishing.

But still, the sun never seems to move the clouds away.... Maybe that's why the photos are so dark....
I was also concerned about the very large amount of trash.
View of the substation from the right bank
Further behind this substation is a power plant.
In addition, I heard that there is a parking lot, but I could not find it, so I borrowed a bit of the zebra zone as shown in the photo.
View of the gate from the top edge
A group of huge roller gates.
Note that motor vehicle traffic at the top edge is prohibited.
View of the power plant & substation from the top
This is a view downstream from the top edge. On the right is the substation that was shown in the previous photo, and the white building to the lower left is the power plant.
View of the reduction work from the top edge
The concrete structure only on the left side is similar to the Sakuma Dam.

It was very dark, probably due to the lack of popularity, the cloudy weather, and the fact that dusk was gradually falling. Also, the contrast with the busy Route 412 upstream made me feel even sadder.
