Kuzuryu Dam is one of the most famous rock-fill dams in Japan, so it is probably a major dam for people living in the Chubu and Hokuriku regions. If you are coming from Aichi or Gifu, simply take the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway from the Shirotori IC to the Aburasaka IC on the Aburasaka Pass Road (Chubu Jukan Expressway) and drive along National Route 158 the rest of the way.
stone monument
The area around the dam site is very well maintained, but it is an old dam, so it is noticeably decrepit, and maintenance work was being done here and there. Even so, the number of tourists was relatively large among the dams I have visited.
Three gates.

Other facilities/observations
On the day of the interview (9/23/2002), the dam site was undergoing construction to improve the surrounding area. The PR exhibition hall is old, so I personally hope that it will be renewed as well. By the way, some of the games in the exhibition hall are the same as those in the Tedorigawa Dam.

I will correct it later.
