Every year, from June 1 to 7, waterworks week is celebrated at water treatment plants and other facilities throughout Japan, and at the Bagejo Water Treatment Plant in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, the Bagejo Dam (1204-Umagajo Dam) is open to the public along with the water treatment plant, which is usually closed to the public. This year, it will be held on June 5.
Moreover, not only will the dam be open to the public, but visitors will also be able to see the dam releasing water. According to some sources, the reservoir is adjusted to the most beautiful level for this occasion, and the water is released on the day of the open-house event.
