[Flash Report] Dam Night will be held on Sunday, July 13!

Dam writer and photographer Masaki Hagiwara made a big announcement on Twitter on Saturday, March 29. It was the announcement of a "dam night.

We will have a dam night on July 13th (Sunday) at Calcal, details to be determined.

Recently, there have been many events (even outside of calcal) that talk about the role of dams, operation, history, public relations, awards, and other rather in-depth and difficult topics, so I would like to make it a loose Dam Night like we did in the very early days, simply showing pictures of various dams and saying how cool they are.

I'm all for content that broadens the base of dam enthusiasts. It is no use getting excited only among our own people. We need to make sure that people from all walks of life know about dams and like them.

Oh, but we will do awards at the end of the year! Hopefully it will be a year in which the dam is not active.

The "Dam Awards" will also be held at the end of the year, as previously announced. In other words, it will be held on a regular basis.

So I hope that many people, not only hardcore dam enthusiasts but also those who have recently become fans of dams but still don't know much about them, will come to Dam Night in July. I want to share that elation of seeing unfamiliar dams appear one after another in front of my eyes.
