Another year, another big event! Japan Dam Awards 2014!

The "Japan Dam Awards" were held for the first time last year. Last year, the Hiyoshi Dam (1407-Hiyoshi Dam) received the "Flood Control Award" and the "Dam Grand Prize," making it a hot topic of discussion, and it will be held again this year. The event will be held at Odaiba Culture Culture, which has become a standard venue for the event.

In addition to the Flood Control Award and the Dam Grand Prize, which the Hiyoshi Dam won last year, the Kawaji Dam (0571-Kawaji Dam) won the Discharge Award for its excellent discharge, the Koshibu Dam (1021-Koshibu Dam) won the Event Award for its interesting events, and the Hayamiura Dam (2322-Sameura Dam) won the Low Water Management Award for saving the community from water shortage. The "Low Water Management Award" was presented to a dam that saved a community from a water shortage, and the "Low Water Management Award" was presented to the Hayashiura Dam (2322-Sameura Dam). In addition, a presentation ceremony for a "golden crest gate statue," not a trophy, at Hiyoshi Dam is also being held at the site.

The dam enthusiasts have created a "dam version of the Academy Awards," and we are very much looking forward to seeing which dam will be crowned this year with each of the awards.

The event will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 6:00 pm. The event will take place at Tokyo Culture Culture in Odaiba, Tokyo.
