It was completely nighttime, but all of my companions and I came to the Shijushida Dam because of its proximity to the Gosho Dam.
The Yotsuyoda Dam is one of the five dams on the Kitakami River that were constructed along with the Gosho, Tase, Yuda, and Ishibuchi dams under a project also known as the "Tennessee River Basin Development Authority (TVA) of Japan. It is also the only dam that dams the main stream of the Kitakami River.

But I'm still not used to taking pictures of nightscapes. Even the shadows of myself and the camera + tripod are in the picture.

It is well lit, probably because it is located in Morioka City. The top end and the downstream are connected by stairs, allowing visitors to freely stroll around. On the left bank side is a power plant.

The photo is heavily processed, but it is nice and bright with such a light source. By the way, if you Google "Shijushida Dam," you will get suggestions for negative keywords such as "ghosts" and "jump off," perhaps because a high school girl jumped off the dam and committed suicide.
And well, as with the Gosho Dam, I have not been able to visit or photograph the dam in detail, so I will give a full report when I visit again sometime in the future.
