Flood control by typhoons seemed impressive.

2015 Dam Awards (What dam left the greatest impression on people's memories this year!) : Kinugawa 4 Dam (Tochigi Prefecture)

This year, the news of the Kinugawa River levee break was sensationalized and caused so much damage, but the fact that the damage was kept to a minimum due to the last-ditch fight by the dam upstream was very impressive.

I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the dams (organizations) that received the awards. We also encourage you to visit these dams and congratulate them on their awards.

Thanks to Mr. Hagiwara who organized the event and all the other presenters for their hard work. Thank you very much.
